If you prefer a golf course with 18 holes, Golf Menaggio is the place for you, Golf Menaggio is located about 30 minutes from our farmhouse.The Golf Club was founded in January 1907 and has celebrated 100 years of history in 2007. ‘The second oldest Golf Club in Italy after the Golf Club of Rome Acquasanta.

Golf Menaggio
The Menaggio Golf is the second oldest Golf Club in Italy and was founded by a group of English Gentlemen Club in 1907. In fact the whole it can be said permeated by an obvious British atmosphere that despite the interventions on the path made by Arch. John Harris in 1965 on commission of ‘then president Antonio Roncoroni, has not been damaged and still reigns supreme both on the path paved by several insidious and natural obstacles both in the halls of the dotted circle with valuable vintage prints.
Circle’s flagship is the spectacular views of Lake Como you can enjoy from the Club House and a number of holes. The elevated position of the 18-hole course allows players to capture the beautiful views of the lake, the Alpine foothills and surrounding villages. Menaggio is a mountain path marked by holes up and down in agreement with the morphological characteristics of the pre-alpine terrain: the players have to be very careful and precise along the fairway. E ‘for this reason that from January 10, 1907, the Club’s motto opening day is “Far and Sure”.
The Library is the pride of the Club, as it guards know golf and the historical memory of golf. And ‘unanimously it considered one of the most valuable archives of existing golfing publications in the world.
The Menaggio Golf Club offers the possibility to host “Incentives” with golf lessons, snacks, lunch and dinner at the Club Restaurant, practicing at the driving range and putting green, and if necessary the library can accommodate groups of up to a maximum of 30 persons.
Get to Menaggio from Como involves a car trip of about 45 minutes while it takes about 30 minutes from Lecco, Varenna by embarking on one of the historic ferries of Navigazione Laghi. The trip will allow the visitor to anticipate the start atmosphere ‘900 overlooking the Club thanks to the spectacular views villas set along the shores of the lake.
